As I got the wood-stove going, happy fire flames dancing and crackling over the pieces of wood and pinecones from the garden, I set in the armchair admiring the tranquil beauty of the fire and thinking of the power of just one spark.
One spark that has the power to ignite the flame and turn a stack of dry, dead wood into the most spectacular display of dancing light and warmth. Bringing so much comfort and peacefulness to the one in the armchair. Or the families and friends gathered together around the fireplace telling stories of wonder with a glass of wine. Or the native tribes dancing their way of love and passion around the tribal fire, faces painted, bodies moving to the beat of drums...
December, by far, is the most magical month of the year! We look back, we look forward we allow our minds to wonder off into the land of dreams, as we imagine what we’d like the upcoming year to bring.
There is an unmistakable magic in the air – in the depth of long starry nights, in the shimmer of Christmas decorations, in the stories of elfs, fairies and Santa Claus… This is the time of great anticipation, new hope and new faith in the better.
We also find ourselves wondering Have I done enough this year? Do I have what it takes to make my dreams happen next year? Do I actually know what my dreams are?..
The Industrialisation of Spirituality: A Message to Facilitators, Practitioners, Healers – New, Old and Future - Lidija Ablamska
It is when we remember Why we have chosen the path of a spiritual guide, in one form or another, and recognize the real power of the work we chose to do, that we become true beacons of Light and bringers of the new empowered era to this planet.
All else, is a repetition of same old story, based on fear, greed and ego.
It is absolutely beautiful to see so many people choosing the path of becoming a healer, spiritual facilitator, holistic practitioner, guide, coach, psychic and many more beautiful expressions of self-development field within spirituality. Many people choose to explore and share their spiritual talents, stepping away from the mainstream professions, marking a new era of Awareness, Individual Empowerment and Remembering Our True Limitless Nature. And I can’t celebrate enough to be a witness of such magnificent uprising of Lightworkers and, literally, an explosion of Mass Awakening.
It is falling into the old patterns of greed, competition and commercialism that sadden me...
As the season of goodwill approaches, join me on a journey to unwrap the true meaning of Christmas, and to learn how to celebrate consciously and compassionately this year.
I love the magic of Christmas: for the gift of togetherness it brings, the wonderment of children and the feeling of goodwill that embodies the season. What’s not to love about sharing warm mince pies and mulled wine with loved ones around a blazing log fire.
I do however cringe at what Christmas has become; an excessive barrage of over-consumption and materialism, which has a draining effect upon the bank balance and the planet.
Embracing the unknown and discovering more of who we are
Have you ever asked yourself the question Who am I?
The search for self-definitions, based on whatever our societies’ current paradigms are, is a common need throughout our lives.
But our true nature cannot be merely thought, because it is the source of our thoughts. Our true nature cannot be merely felt, because it is beyond feelings. As the mind-body-spirit beings that we are our true nature can be remembered through intellect and feelings in fluent and balanced communication with each other. Love is the true engine of the world...
