John Gloster-Smith, BA, PGCE, UKAHPP

BA Oxford, PGCE, MAHPP. John is a highly skilled and experienced life coach, group facilitator and executive coach, specialising in using Gestalt and other process interventions to bring about growth and change. He delivers retreat centre personal development programmes, trains people nationally in the art of facilitating at emotionally challenging levels, and co-leads laughter workshops. He is an accredited member of the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (Educator and Group Facilitator, having undergone a rigorous assessment of his training and personal development, and he receives on-going professional supervision.

He is also a member of the Association for Coaching and adheres to their professional Code of Ethics. He specialises in Humanistic, Transpersonal and Positive Psychology, which he utilises for highly original, effective and insightful facilitation techniques designed to get beneath the surface to remove blockages and bring about change. He has a background of 17 years in Education to senior management level, having been a Head of Department for 10.5 years, and a Head of Examinations, and he holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and a BA (2:1) from Oxford University.
