Vaz Sriharan set up the London College of Spirituality in June 2007 and opened its doors to participants, clients and the international community in October. The College emerged from the hugely popular London Spirituality Meetup Group that began in January of the same year, bringing together like-minded people to discuss spirituality in all its forms. With the popularity of the meetup group, it quickly evolved into delivering a framework for Londoners to experience and explore spirituality. And so the London College of Spirituality was born! Offering Londoners and now the international community an arena to explore one's spirituality - but also to enable spirituality to become a movement, one that is owned by everyone.

Vaz experienced many years of depression that propelled him to explore his spirituality on a very deep level. In his spare time, Vaz is a spiritual writer, volunteer worker, compassionate activist, traveller and adventurer. For more, please see his personal website - click here

Cheryl van Blerk

Cheryl van Blerk, assistant to the College Director Vaz Sriharan, is delighted to add her new position at the London College of Spirituality to her biography - as she has participated in some exciting events over the past 10 years. She started out her career in the music business and moved to TV and then set up her own company to record and produce audio programmes, including The Spiritual Tourist, by Mick Brown. This led to her company organising and promoting speakers and authors, including Diana Cooper's Angel Day and devising a stand alone event at the Vitality Show; Spiritual Journey. Eckart Tolle was a high point of this event when he gave his first UK seminar after the success of his book Power of Now. As Administrator at the College of Psychic Studies she oversaw diverse lecture and workshop programmes which included Dolores Cannon, Tim Freke, Jason Chan and Tony Stockwell. In 2004 Cheryl organised a successful event with the launch show of the popular exhibition The Mystic Arts in London's Olympia. The programme had CPS tutors and psychics introduce their talent and abilities over 3 days to thousands of delegates. Alongside Vaz, Cheryl will be on board to take the London College of Spirituality to the next level of spiritual endeavour in these exciting times, in the heart of London.

Heather Andrews-Dobbs

Following a marriage breakup in her twenties, Heather Andrews-Dobbs moved to London. In a desire to meet her ‘twin soul’ she studied Metaphysics, New Thought, Spiritual Psychology and other wonderful practical spiritual teachings. She applied the understanding she had gained, met her partner who she recognised at a soul level, and married him in Hawaii in 1984. Having experienced this precious gift of love and companionship for many years, Heather is motivated is to help others to gain an understanding of soul based relationships.

Kim Arnold

Kim Arnold has over 25 years experience with the Tarot and was fortunate to be taught by Tarot Masters with the disciplines very much of the ‘old school’, she has attended Tarot Conferences run by the Readers Studio in New York and is founder of the UK Tarot Conference, which brings together authors and teachers of tarot from around the world

Her client list includes high profile celebrities from around the world of fashion, film and TV for whom she holds regular sessions. The Tarot has enabled her the privilege of meeting the most wonderful people from all walks of life and has helped to guide them through difficult times.

She is currently working as a tarot specialist on a Universal Studio movie due for release in April 2009, preparing a major Hollywood star as a tarot reader for her role.

Darren Bayliss

Spirits were with Darren from his early age, always there always around him. Because he was so sensitive and in tune in the beginning he was always so scared and tried to hide from them. But with the big learning curve he eventually let them in and learnt with the help of his trusted guides to embrace this gift. Through this journey they helped him understand completely the extent of what was possible and how to use his gift to understand fully other people’s lives from birth to present. Also helping with understanding healing enabling him to ease their pain.

When he was young there was no one around to help him understand his confusing time with spirits and understand his gifts, he had to learn on his own. So now much of his time is devoted to help educate and develop gifts of others who may be in similar circumstances. The answer is to work with the spirits and to feel how people work with their unique gifts and harness and channel them the way they were meant to. Jennifer is a professional tarot reader and healer qualified in reflexology, reiki, indian head massage and acupressure. She has been reading the tarot for around 17 years now and used the cards to help others see the truth about themselves and the choices that they make. Edwin Courtenay

Edwin Courtenay is a clairvoyant, channel and spiritual teacher working throughout the UK and Europe offering consultations, lectures, workshops and retreats. Usha Chudasama

Usha’s journey and dedication to empower others began following a debilitating illness in 2000. Her own healing and self-development journey was inspired by Louise Hay’s book ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ and she is now a Louise L. Hay Practitioner. She runs weekly ‘Heal Your Life’ adult workshops where group members can take part in simple yet powerful exercises such as inner child work, releasing anger in a safe environment, and learning how to forgive, plus much more…

Aside from her main teaching job, she adapted and used the adult workshop materials with the children with fantastic positive results, and the unique “Healing Feeling 4 Kids” program evolved. She won a millennium award from ‘Unltd’ to run a summer program in August 2007. She is dedicated and now more motivated in sharing her tried and tested, pioneering work for children aged 8yrs – 15yrs. She is currently writing a book to accompany the program.

Dr. Kerry Halliday

Kerry Halliday PhD is primarily a hypnotherapist and has 10 years of working in the therapeutic setting. Her extensive skills are drawn primarily from a background in psychology, health research, hypnotherapy and NLP. Life and her clients however, have been her biggest teachers. As a Reiki master she uses her metaphysical skills combined with practical techniques for emotional, spiritual and physical healing working with the concept of co-creating wellness with the client. She believes the greatest gift we can offer the world is healing ourselves.

Kerry’s work is about moving forward and embracing life; helping clients tap into their own loving wisdom and teaching them how to take responsibility for creating the life they wish for. Through deep and progressive work clients learn to listen to their inner wisdom to discover joy and love through self-hypnosis and psychotherapeutic trance work. This practical spirituality teaches the client to tap in to their creative inner resources and empower their life; these actions helps facilitate them to see the infinite possibilities that await. Ana Isabel

Ana Isabel is an Astrologer with over 10 years experience of producing charts and delivering teaching programs on the subject.

For the last couple of years Ana has worked on various radio stations to help promote a better understanding of Astrology. Graham Nicholls

Graham Nicholls is the director of the Shahmai Network, an organisation focused on a modern understanding of spirituality as an evolving process both personally and socially. He is also an internationally acclaimed artist who creates work designed to allow the participant to explore their unconscious mind through specially designed environments. Suzy Pool

Suzy has had over 25 years experience working in the Health industry. She started her career in Nursing and progressed into Occupational Health Advising. In her work as a private consultant much of her work involved setting up Healthy and Safety training programmes for companies and advising on sickness absence management. She was employed by clients including Government Agencies and multi-national companies.

Having experienced the positive benefits of Yoga and meditation in her own life, Suzy felt called to help others do the same, and decided to become a yoga /meditation teacher 5 years ago. She has maintained her practice as a Stress Management Consultant and is currently doing a Transpersonal Psychotherapy Diploma.

Suzy’s passion has always been to inspire others to reach their full potential in life and release the limiting forces that prevent this from happening. This often takes great courage and will power and a willingness to look deep into ourselves and accept change.

Having been on a journey into Self Awareness for many years she is able to support and offer many tools to help individuals to discover themselves and feel free and open to all that life can offer.

Suzy has a warm and open manner as a teacher, combining her experiences as a corporate Health Advisor and a spiritual teacher.

Avril Price

Avril is a sensitive and has been developing her abilities with Tarot for over 25 years. She works with Tarot on several levels including psychic divination and spiritual path working.

She trained with some of the best known masters, including Paul McKenna, Valerie Austin, Dr Roger Callahan (creator of TFT) and Dr Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP).

Sue worked in a variety of roles in a corporate environment for over 16 years. She has always enjoyed learning but became particularly drawn to hypnosis after attending a short weekend course. Having originally been sceptical, she was so impressed with the results she achieved on herself, her family and friends that she decided to make a complete career change and use these powerful techniques to help others lead happier and more fulfilled lives.

Reiki Master Savitri

Savitri Sriharan, a former medical professional at St. Mary's Medical School in London and subsequent Maths and English tutor, had a powerful spiritual awakening in 2000. Since then, she has rapidly developed a unique connection to Spirit, allowing her to initiate remarkable healing sessions with clients as well as numerous visionary, auditory and sensory experiences.
