LCS Refund & Cancellation Policy

When making any purchase for any service at the LCS:
  <  Three working days notice from initial payment: Full refund
 When making any payment to LCS, there is a three working day period in which students and clients can cancel their service and receive a full refund. However, the exception to this is if the service is cancelled after the cancellation notice periods below:

Consultations:
  >  48 hours before consultation: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than 48 hours (two working days) notice is given to LCS: 25% cancellation fee
  <  48 hours: 100% cancellation fee
Less than 48 hours (two working days) notice is given to LCS: 100% cancellation fee (full payment forfeited)

Workshops:
  >  1 week (seven days) before workshop event: 25% cancellation fee of workshop
More than 1 week (seven days) notice is given to LCS: 25% cancellation fee
  <  1 week - 100% cancellation fee of workshop
Less than 1 week (seven working days) notice is given to LCS: 100% cancellation fee (full payment forfeited)

Courses:
   >  3 weeks prior to start date of course: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than three weeks (twenty one days) notice is given: 25% cancellation fee
  <  3 weeks prior to start date: 100% cancellation fee
Under three weeks notice given: 100% cancellation fee of course (full payment forfeited)

Lectures
   >  3 weeks prior to start date of course: 25% cancellation fee of course
More than three weeks (twenty one days) notice is given: 25% cancellation fee
  <  3 weeks prior to start date: 100% cancellation fee
Under three weeks notice given: 100% cancellation fee of course (full payment forfeited)

Exception to all rules: If your place is taken by another before the consultation, course, workshop begins, then you will receive a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.
Please contact college after the course, workshop has begun to see if your place has been taken.

For those who have booked a block of consultations with a tutor, the same principle as courses applies - where the block of consultations is treated as payment for one service. Therefore, to cancel one would mean to cancel all and would have to be done so using the same cancellation policy outlined above.

What are administration costs? These are costs incurred to the college following a loss of a seat that could have gone to another. Costs include time, advertising, revenue, financial accounts amendments and administrative duties.
