LCS Guidelines
LCS respects the beliefs of all,
subsequently this college does not hold an affiliation with any particular
organisation, belief or faith. LCS
does not promote any one belief or faith in its
material, instead it ensures to include as wide a variety of beliefs as possible.
Guidelines for
practitioners when volunteering
LCS is committed to ensuring that it helps out in the community through
volunteering, in a manner of complete selflessness - therefore there will be no
giving in order to receive, through promotion of personal services or beliefs. In this respect, LCS aims to
ensure that the following guidelines are followed by all practitioners who take
part in healing events:
 |
Respect of the spiritual, religious,
emotional, mental and social beliefs of the patients as primary |
 |
There will be no passing of any belief-based information. Healers are
there to provide an energetic experience |
 |
There will be no passing of personal or
college contact information. This is not an advertising venture, it is
100% for the patient |
 |
The hospital is responsible for the
patient |
 |
Practitioners must not wear white coats,
which give the impression that they are a staff member of the hospital |
 |
Never undermine the patient's faith in hospital
treatment or regime |
Please respect these guidelines.

LCS Guidelines for Tutors &
Therapists for
Courses, Workshops & Consultations
We at the London College of
Spirituality want to make it our priority to give participants, clients, tutors
and society the best possible service. This includes an educational, explorative
and transformational one – that abides by various principles. Whilst, of course
we would never attempt to control or dictate the nature of courses, workshops or
consultations taught by tutors at the college, we do ask that they adhere to
certain guidelines. These are as follows:
 |
All material will align with
the notion of evolving or exploring consciousness on some level, pushing
/challenging the boundaries of what is known and moving into the unknown.
|
 |
All material will harbour
some aspect of self-empowerment, so participants recognise their connection
to what they are learning. Participants leave more in control of their
lives.
|
 |
All courses and workshops
will offer students some way of applying what they have learned to their
day-to-day lives. All material taught at the college will be practical in
some sense, so that participants can use it in their “normal” lives.
|
 |
All individuals' beliefs are
primary. LCS will not preach or attempt to dictate any one belief structure
to participants or clients nor ridicule or dismiss any other belief.
Instead, LCS will serve as a platform to explore multiple belief structures.
|
 |
Tutors work with
participants to greater evolve their work. Thus participants are involved in
the learning process as opposed to traditional models of teaching.
|
 |
Tutors will work
experientially as much as possible. Participants within courses and
workshops are here within LCS to learn through experience, action and
interaction. There will be the availability for course packs at the end of
the course
|
 |
Tutors show the upmost
respect for other tutors working or who begin to work at the college,
treating them as they would like to be treated themselves. All tutors
realise that despite others working in similar fields, each tutor has
something unique to offer through his or her service. |
Please also read the relevant
Code of Conduct for Tutors and Therapists / Energy Healers, which outline the
usual principles when teaching in a psychological / psychic setting.
As well as being an educational
facility, LCS is also harbours an evolving social and ideological framework.
This includes working with other organisations that are committed towards
compassion – through serving the Self and the Whole, in whatever capacity that
may be. Below are principles that LCS is committed to (this is for your
information only and does not denote what courses, workshops or consultations
should entail):
 |
Pursuit of Knowledge
Exploring consciousness and pushing the boundaries of knowledge. Therefore
LCS realises that for it to truly represent a foundation for spiritual
exploration, it must constantly adapt accordingly with ever-evolving mass
consciousness.
|
 |
Inclusion of all Paths
Welcoming all beliefs, faiths and truths and those without. Respect for
other's belief is primary in all courses, workshops and consultations.
|
 |
Non-polarisation
LCS is aligned with a principle of transcending duality, through seeing all
'sides' of a situation. Therefore, LCS refrains from entering any 'us versus
them' philosophies or material. LCS is committed to working with all 'sides'
to bring about co-operation and harmony.
|
 |
College Responsibility
LCS is devoted towards the services of its staff, students and clients. This
college strives to ensure that it learns from its students as much as it
teaches or guides them.
|
 |
Social Responsibility
Recognising that being involved in a society means giving and receiving. LCS
is dedicated towards giving back into society through volunteer-based
community work, freely given without passing any belief-based material.
|
 |
Environmental Responsibility
LCS is committed to ensuring that it sets an example in terms of
environmental awareness and respect to the planet through its promotion of
recycling, using recycled products, carbon neutrality. |
