An ideal
introduction to the active meditations of Osho, the 20th Century Enlightened
Indian Mystic, designed to bring a new quality of ease to our busy, pressured
lifestyle.
Active
meditation is the synergy of movement and meditation and offers an accessible
approach to quietening the mind via the use of movement, which can include
shaking, breathing, jumping, dancing and whirling. As with all meditation, the
aim is to quieten the mind and access the deeper parts of yourself. We will also
focus on how to bring the qualities of meditation into your everyday life.
You will
experience a diverse range of powerful active Osho meditations. Some of these
meditations have been developed entirely by Osho, others he adapted from
traditional meditations. Meditations will include his two Powerful Methods for
Awakening: Osho Dynamic and Osho Kundalini, plus Osho No Dimensions, Osho
Mandala, Chakra Breathing and Hara Stop! (developed by Maneesha, a close
disciple of Osho).
Each week
there will be a 1-hour meditation which will be fully explained, and there will
be an opportunity for sharing.
